Getting started

Set up

1. Open Milo The Pup.
2. Follow the setup screens.
3. Subscribe to or restore Milo The Pup Plus when asked. Plus is required after setup.

You can skip optional steps and change them later in Settings.

Setup may also ask you to:

• allow Screen Time access (iPhone)
• allow Usage Access (Android)
• choose apps to block
• allow notifications (for reminders and, on iPhone, Live Activities during a session)
• add the home-screen widget

Start your first session

1. On Home, tap Focus session.
2. Choose focus time, break time, and number of cycles.
3. Select the apps you want to block.
4. Tap Start.

Blocked apps stay blocked during focus time. They are available during breaks, when you pause, or when the session ends.

Home tour

The first time you reach Home, Milo points out the main parts of the app. You can skip the tour.

To see it again: Settings → Run onboarding again.

This does not delete your history, rules, or subscription.

If setup fails

1. iPhone: Open Settings in Milo The Pup and request Screen Time access again.
2. Android: Open Settings in Milo The Pup and grant Usage Access.
3. Return to Milo The Pup after changing a phone permission.
4. Restart the app if the status does not update.
