iOS & Screen Time

On iPhone, Milo The Pup uses Screen Time access to let you choose and block apps.

Allow access

1. Open Milo The Pup Settings.
2. Tap Screen Time access.
3. Approve the Apple permission prompt.
4. Return to Milo The Pup.

Focus sessions and scheduled rules cannot block apps until this is approved.

Choose apps

When Apple's app picker opens:

1. Select the apps or categories you want to block.
2. Confirm your choice.

Top apps today

After access is approved, Home can show today's top apps from Apple's Screen Time report. This works on a real iPhone.

Important

App selection, blocking, and usage reports need a physical iPhone. They do not work fully in the Simulator.

Troubleshooting

1. Make sure Screen Time is enabled in iPhone Settings.
2. Request access again from Milo The Pup Settings.
3. Confirm a focus session is running or a rule is on.
4. Restart Milo The Pup after changing access.
5. If blocking still fails, restart the iPhone and try again.
